In this enchanting adaptation, Emperor Marcusthe Third wonders how he can possibly run an empirewhen he’s only 14 years old. In an attempt to appear
more mature to his people, he accepts the credo that “clothesmaketh the man”, but soon finds himself the centre of a hoax.
After finding himself in a royal mess, he eventually learns the important lesson - “that no matter how grandor small you appear, the person who counts is the
person in here!”
And “here”, as everyone knows, is your heart.
The writers of the hit musicals Seussical, Ragtime, My Favourite Year, and Lucky Stiff, have now added song and dance and a castle full of characters to the
children’stale made famous by Hans Christian Andersen.
