One of Kookaburra’s primary objectives is to make musical theatre more accessible and affordable for all Australians. So, instead of you travelling to a capital city, Kookaburra will travel to you!
In August & September 2008 Kookaburra will travel to Tamworth, Taree, Wollongong, Queanbeyan and Wagga Wagga.
With a touring troupe of 6, comprising of 4 Actors, 1 Company Stage Manager and 1 Musician / Actor, Kookaburra will present two musicals to the region's schools.
PRIMARY STUDENTS SECONDARY STUDENTS
Plus we will present the main-stage musical I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change at the region's theatres.
In addition to performing, the cast and crew of Kookaburra Touring will offer a variety of workshops to community groups to develop and explore their interest in the art form.
